For archaeology enthusiasts and others, visiting Agrigento and its Valley of the Temples is a must-see stop during a trip to Sicily. The Temple of Concordia is considered one of the most remarkable sacred buildings of the classical era in the Greek world. During the almond blossom season (February), the valley fills with white and pink petals, a spring gift from this tree, symbol of Sicilian agriculture and typical Sicilian pastry. The journey continues towards Piazza Armerina to admire the mosaics of the Villa del Casale.
